Mizuno JPX FLI-HI Hybrids Review
Mizuno JPX FLI-HI Hybrids
Rankmark Line

The Mizuno JPX FLI-HI produced some interesting results. Where you would have thought the Hybrid would have been the strongest, average golfers, it placed higher in the low and high handicap groups. In all groups, distance and consistent ranked highest by a relatively large margin.

Low Handicap - This group of testers liked the distance and consistence they got from trying the JPX FLI-HI. Next was the sound with looks and feel a bit lower.

Average Handicap - This was an interesting group of golfers, they seemed to either really like the club or not. There was not much of a middle ground which accounts for it's placement within this group. Overall the results were very even across the rankings with a dip in looks. Consistency and distance tied for the highest scores.

High Handicap - The high handicaps, as with all other groups, liked the distance and consistency. Looks in this group also placed even with distance and consistency.

Manufacturer Description

The JPX FLI-HITM hybrid was designed to directly replace difficult to hit traditional long irons with an easy to launch, massively forgiving 'hybrid' shaped head. These JPX FLI-HI DLR's (Direct Long Iron Replacements) can be seamlessly integrated into any one of Mizuno's JPX iron sets.

The JPX FLI-HI Hybrid DLR's incorporate the same distance generating technologies as the JPX-800 and JPX-800 HD irons. These include a multi-thickness 'Hot Metal' face and MAX COR Pocket Cavity for increased ball speeds from anywhere on the face. In addition to these technologies we have incorporated a wood type hybrid head shape to provide a massive sweet area and a lower, deeper Center of Gravity (COG). The JPX FLI-HI Hybrid DLR's will allow golfers of all abilities to execute long iron shots with ease and accuracy.
