Average Handicap
The K15 outscored the G15 in distance and the only real differential in the categories was the sound which was lower than the others. This club placed on top of the average handicap group in looks.
High Handicap
We had expected the K15 to score higher in this class because of the comments we heard saying this club was easier to hit and more forgiving. But distance seemed to have kept it from scoring better.
With the K15 you'll drive the ball straighter, assisted by a PING innovation called Straight Flight Technology (SF Tec). This visible technology concentrates approximately 10% of head mass toward the heel, which helps square the club face for consistently straight tee shots.
You'll also see big distance gains with the K15. Combining a large-profile 460cc head and a club face that is longer heel to toe, the MOI is sizeable for consistent performance across the hitting surface. This design positions the center of gravity low and back to generate high launch and low spin.

The K-15 is without a doubt the best driver I have ever owned as far as accuracy. Decent distance but not the longest.

When I retired, I went on the quest of finding the perfect driver for me. A 10 handicap, 90-95 mph swing. After having the swing analyzed, I went with a Cobra S2 Offset for a while then went to an Adams 4G Ultralite. I was still not satisfied. After hitting the Titliest 910D2, Callaway Razr Hawk and Diablo Octane, Cleveland Launcher, Ping G and K15s and TaylorMade R11, I went with the Ping K15. After 1 year, I can tell you this has been the most consistent driver I have ever had (50 yrs of golfing!). I recommend it highly! I even bought a second one for my bag in Florida.

I went to a Ping demo day a week ago. I hit my R7 along with a G15 10.5 loft and K15 10.5 and 9.5 loft. Ended up going with the K15 10.5 degree loft based on launch monitor results. Carry was 10+ yards further than R7. All clubs had regular shafts. So far I really like the K15 and it appears to be an improvement over my R7. I had been planning to buy the G15 but the tests showed the K15 to be a better fit for my swing (I'm a 19 handicap).

I have the K15 driver and it suits my game to a T. It out plays my G15 by enough that it warranted a purchase. I still have the G15 and will use it on occasions just to keep it from getting too lonely :) I have no issues with the K15's sound and the distance is better and straighter than the G15. However, as with everything, YMMV. None-the-less, it's a great driver.
