Congratulations to Cleveland Golf once again for their consistent ability to produce wedges that are so well received by the golfing community!
TaylorMade also did an excellent job with their new Z TP with the smoke finish.
Mizuno's MP R Series performed very well overall and in other categories.
Wedge Test: Accuracy
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
It's no question that these are great clubs, out of over 25 choices these clubs came up in the top 3 consistently. For those skeptics, we triple checked all the testers recording for accuracy only and here are the numbers;
Cleveland 1,127
Taylormade 1,123
Mizuno 1,122
Wedge Test: Feel
Wedge Results: Feel
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
After the Rankmarkers has a chance to hit the wedges, they were asked about the feel. Again, this is a very subjective question, but in making a decision about equipment, feel is very important. Cleveland won another category.
TaylorMade was commented to also have a very "solid" feel and the Mizuno ranked in the top 3 for yet another time.
Wedge Test: Look
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
One of the first questions we asked out Rankmarkers was to rank the look of the wedges. Although, this is a very subjective question, we felt you would want to know. The winner is TaylorMade.
Apparently the Titleist and Mizuno are appealing to the eye as well from all the choices they have.
Wedge test: Low Handicap
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
Among golfers with a 10 Handicap or lower, the Titleist Vokey Design SM wedges won the #1 spot hands down. These clubs are designed for golfer with low handicaps and it shows.
Mizuno and Cleveland came in respectively 2nd and 3rd with products that are such a crucial part of the game.
Wedge Test: High Handicap
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
Congratulation to TaylorMade, ranked #1 in the wedge category by all the testers with handicaps over 10. This new category allows you to know what other golfers with a similar game who tested the clubs think. We hope this helps you narrow your search and helps your game.
No surprise Cleveland and Callaway did so well with their wedges. They both make a great product.
Wedge Test: Seniors
1st PLACE
2nd PLACE
3rd PLACE
On the PGA Tour, they define Senior's as golfers over 50. We agree, and for this new category Ping's Tour W was tested and ranked #1.
The 2nd and 3rd place winners are TaylorMade's Z TP and Cleveland's CG12 Chrome, again...
OK, so you may have noticed that Mizuno has won the #1 spot again. We found it very interesting though, that the 2nd and 3rd places are almost the same as the Low Handicap under $100.
The numbers (which may not make any sense to you) are Mizuno 226, Wilson 213, and Srixon 209.

Once again, Titleist has achieved the highest ranking from the Low Handicappers. It seems like if you shoot in the 70's or low 80's, this is the wedge for you.
Cleveland is a top 3 pick again and Nike's new Victory Tour Forged Red tested very well.
Due to an overwhelming number of requests from our viewership, here are all the brands we tested. (Listed in alphabetical order)
