When hunting for the proper putter, one that should enhance your game, two thoughts should help you toward the best choice.
1) Comfortable - It should feel comfortable in your hand when making "your" putting motion.
2) When looking down at the club in your set-up position you should be able to see the line that you are trying to propell the ball over (toward the hole). Lastly, practice sending the ball over that line at the target
Practice over and over again until you build a level of confidence in your putting stroke that would allow you to make that putt in the dark. And now the test...
Trying to find out which 10 putters are the best out of a feild of 50 is no easy task. At the same time getting over 100 testers to come to some kind of agreement is an even more difficult task. Our evaluation was conducted using 112 golfers; 42 with handicaps of 10 or less and 70 with more. The point spread is as follows:
1st - 5pts 2nd - 4pts 3rd - 3pts 4th - 2pts 5th - 1pt 6th or more = 0 points
Remember, if you keep practicing you will become good at it!
Until then I remain,
Charlie Mandel CEO of Rankmark The Bogie Man
